IMPORTANT!
- Do not brush within 4-hours of arriving at your appointment. Some toothpaste such as Sensodyne contain fillers that can block the microscopic ‘pores’ in your tooth enamel making it harder for embedded stains to be released. I suggest the night before you have a good brush and floss, take care not to brush your gums too hard, especially the lower front. Then, on the morning of your whitening just a quick gentle clean with water only.
- If you suffer from tooth/gum sensitivity or you’re allergic to peroxide (an ingredient in the whitening gel) then sensitivity is more likely to occur. For these people, I recommend you use Sensodyne toothpaste for 1 week before but NOT ON THE DAY of your treatment and after your treatment.
- You will need to follow the ‘White Diet’ for 24 hours after your teeth whitening treatment. To help you plan, some food and beverage suggestions are available in the following link https://www.ismile.co.nz/teeth-whitening-after-care-instructions
- There is a one-week stand-down between a dental scale and polish and having your teeth whitened.
- If this appointment has been booked for a special occasion such as getting married, I strongly advise that your treatment should be carried out no less than 5 days before your wedding, just in case you get sensitivity.

Your appointment has been allocated especially to you. Late cancellations and rescheduling (within 48 hours of your appointment) impact my business and other clients who could have been seen..
